Robert R. Horton is Chairman of Alchemix Corporation which he founded in 1998. He has an extensive energy background. He has served as organizer and senior manager for a variety of energy and environmental technology companies over the past 27 years, including Integrated Carbons Corporation, Custom Coals Corporation and the China Coal Pipeline Company. His efforts helped create technology and projects relating to the conversion of coal to hybrid fuel, low cost desulphurization of coal, advanced coal cleaning, increased power plant efficiency, as well as the development of a coal slurry pipeline project in China. Previously, he partnered with American Broadcasting Company (ABC) in establishing the world’s largest travel franchise company, Travel Network Corporation. Early in his career Mr. Horton had a background in financial management. He was a broker with Boettcher and Company, office manager with A.G. Edwards and Company and led a syndicate to fund major motion pictures for E.F. Hutton. Mr. Horton holds a B.S. degree from Southern Illinois University and completed an executive management course at The Graduate School of Finance at the University of Texas. Joel H. Bennett is President of Alchemix Corporation. Previously, he was Chairman of Parsons Brinckerhoff International Inc., a holding company for the international subsidiaries of Parsons Brinckerhoff and served on the main Board of PB as an executive Director. He was the founding President of Parsons Brinckerhoff Power, Inc., Parsons Brinckerhoff’s global power company. He also served as Deputy Director of Corporate Development at Parsons Brinckerhoff working on a wide range of corporate matters, utilizing his experience in overall business management, planning, engineering management and worldwide business development for the engineering and construction industries. He joined Parsons Brinckerhoff after serving in various capacities as a senior holding company officer and subsidiary president for the Parsons Corporation, a major engineering and construction firm. These positions included Executive Vice President for International Operations and Global Business Development, and President of their worldwide environmental and water infrastructure business (Parsons Engineering Science). Mr. Bennett has over 45 years of continuous experience in the consulting, engineering and construction business. He is a member of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers and has served on numerous boards and committees including the U.S. Department of Energy and universities in California. Mr. Bennett holds a M.S., in Chemical Engineering from the University of Southern California, an M.B.A., Operations Analysis, from the University of California at Los Angeles, and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from USC. J. Kelly Kindig is Chief Scientist of Alchemix. He is responsible for technical research and development of the HydroMax technology. Dr. Kindig formerly held positions as Executive Vice President - Technology for Custom Coals International, Genesis Research Corporation and Integrated Carbons Corporation. He also served as Vice President with Hazen Research, where he founded and managed the organization's coal research sector. Dr. Kindig's experience includes application of theoretical solutions to mineral processing, bench- and pilot-plant testing, and full-scale design. He is author of more than 40 patents and numerous technical publications. Dr. Kindig holds B.A. degrees in Chemistry and Physics and M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Mineral Preparation from Pennsylvania State University. Merrill Ring is a financial advisor and is Managing Partner and Principal of Ring McAfee & Company, a merchant banking and financial advisory firm involved in project efforts in the power and industrial process sector, worldwide. Dr. Ring holds a Ph.D. from Columbia. He previously served as Vice President of Research and later as Senior Vice President and Executive Director of the Public Finance Department at the Bank of America and as Executive Vice President and Partner with Private Capital Partners, Inc. He currently sits on the Board of Directors of R.W. Beck, Inc. P. Robert Moya is principal counsel for Alchemix and is a partner with Quarles & Brady, a national law firm. Mr. Moya’s practice focuses on middle-market and emerging entrepreneurial and growth companies. He has extensive experience with organizations involved in technology, software, distribution and hospitality. Mr. Moya has handled numerous transactions including public and private offerings of equity and debt, mergers, acquisitions and sales of businesses for public and private companies, SEC reporting and compliance, strategic alliances, and international transactions. He received an A.B. from Princeton University, J.D. from Stanford University and is member of the District of Columbia Bar, and Arizona and California State Bars. Steven R. Styer is Vice President and Chief Technology Officer of Alchemix Corporation. He is responsible for technical development and commercialization of the HydroMax gasification technology. Mr. Styer is a registered professional engineer in California, Arizona, New Mexico and Colorado. Prior to joining Alchemix he was Managing Principal for Styer Engineering & Consulting for eleven years, developing an extensive client base in the high tech and aerospace industries. He led the development efforts at Hexcel Corporation to produce novel materials for use in the edges for the USAF B2 and the US Navy A12 aircraft programs. He has also held a number of technical and management roles at Kaiser Aluminum & Chemical Corporation and at The Dow Chemical Company. Mr. Styer holds a B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of California at Davis and a M.S. degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of California at Berkeley. Richard J. Neylon is Vice President, Marketing and Sales of Alchemix Corporation. He is responsible for customer contact and customer communication. Prior to Alchemix Mr. Neylon served as a Director and Founder of Sulfur Derivative Products, a company dedicated to serving customers, especially in the base & precious metals industries as well as agricultural industries with sulfur based solutions. Major customers included Potash, the world’s largest fertilizer company, Codelco, the world’s largest Copper producer, and Grupo Mexico, the world’s second largest Copper producer and second largest Silver producer. Prior to 1996, Mr. Neylon served as Tessenderlo Kerley’s Vice President and North American Business Development officer. He also served as Director of Commercial Development for Stauffer Chemical Company prior to the company’s merger with ICI in 1987. Mr. Neylon holds a B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts. On April 17, 2007, Mr. Neylon received a US patent describing recovery of ammonia acid gases within oil refineries. Jeffrey A. Corallo is Vice President of Finance and Treasurer of Alchemix Corporation. He served as president of Jeffrey A. Corallo, CPA, P.C., an accounting and management consulting company, for eighteen years. In that capacity, he provided financial and accounting services and advice to diverse clients from individuals to small and medium sized privately held companies. During that time, he served on several for-profit and not-for-profit boards, along with voluntarily assisting several charities with their accounting issues. Mr. Corallo worked for two local firms and for Ernst & Whinney before starting Jeffrey A. Corallo, CPA, P.C. He is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a B.S. degree in Accounting from Arizona State University. Lauren Engineers & Constructors is a leading EPC contractor serving power and industrial clients. The Company has over 750 employees and is licensed in 39 states. They have offices in Texas, Tennessee, and throughout Canada (KSI, Inc.). Lauren provides its customers with a full range of high-quality, cost-effective, in-house engineering and construction services. Past customers include General Electric, Dominion, Southern Company, Calpine, Siemens, and Westinghouse. Diversified Energy Corporation specializes in advancing alternative and renewable energy technologies and projects. The Company’s focus is on maturing and commercializing new energy technologies such as advanced coal gasification techniques, biofuels technologies and algae production. In parallel, the Company is working on projects (and providing services to others) to bring commercially available technologies to market now. Diversified Energy Corporation maintains a non-exclusive license to use the HydroMax technology in the United States and is assisting Alchemix with ongoing engineering and consulting services. Diversified Energy and Alchemix are each shareholders in the other's company. David Dockery is a patent attorney with Marsh, Fischmann & Breyfogle, LLP. He has extensive experience in chemical and materials related technologies, including manufacturing processes for a variety of inorganic chemicals and materials, fuel cell technologies, mining technologies, waste remediation processes, magnetic recording technologies and intellectual property. Mr. Dockery also has experience negotiating and preparing technology development and licensing agreements and preparing and obtaining federal trademark registrations. He received B.S. and M.S. degrees in Ceramic Engineering from Alfred University and a J.D. from the University of Denver. He is registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and is a member of the State Bar of Colorado.
